very simple doodle...but i liked it.

alex and uniboar.
yeah. just wanted something different to look at on my user page...

anyway, thank you *nekophoenix for suggesting alex. or, alexandra. very simple, and generic, which was exactly what i was looking for!

[micron pen and brush pen, with white gel pen]

EDIT. is there any way to get this off the DA front page? this is embarrassing.
and i don't appreciate whiney comments about this being on the frontpage. i want it down as much as you do so keep it to yourself.

Eeee!
Ahaha, is it wrong that I feel really honoured she's called Alex? X3 I just think she really looks like one, so I'm glad you liked the name :3

If you don't create a book one day, I'ma so gonna kick your arse.

The world Alex is in, with her Uniboar friend, is made all the more mysterious and mystical by the snow and the trees. This looks like a part of the world that is a little bit dangerous, and they're lost. Which way for them to go?

riding a giant uniboar in a snowy landscape is something I never would have thought of, its adorable and full of imagination. I really think you should illustrate childrens books one day.

alexandra is a good name! v common though i agree.

my favourite thing is how there is just a little snow, as though it is only just starting or just finishing snowing.

your illustration is so traditional, and I love that. do you do illustration at university? I am thinking of speciallizing in it, but where I am at illustration means really contemporary undergroundish type things (which i do love too) which is totally removed from children's book type stuff. I guess what I mean is, that I wonder if you are the only person on your course doing this kind of traditional illustration or if lots of people do it?
